ERN GUARD-HEART is seeking to strengthen coordination of expertise and resources to facilitate pooling of multidisciplinary knowledge which will be mapped and disseminated to the lay public. European Reference Networks allow doctors and researchers to better understand patient cases from different perspectives, for instance in the case of Jasper, a heart patient from the Netherlands.
